This park is home to the endangered Nilgiri Thar. The highest peak of south India - Anamudi at an altitude of 2695 meters is situated at the southern edge of this park. The park is an ideal place to spot Nilgiri Thars at close range.

Top Station (32 kms from Munnar)

It is a scenic attraction on the edge of Kerala's prime tea growing region. There once was a railway terminus here (hence the name) from which tea was transported to Munnar and beyond.
